Marriott and Hilton don't give you points you deserve

Hilton Honors and Marriott rewards have decided that if you book a hotel room through a third party, you do not "deserve" to be credited with the stay at their hotels. They basically are STEALING points from us frequent travelers. Company policies who force office managers to book through Egencia or other third parties cannot help it. The hotels chains are cheaters and should be called to order.
